  • Our story started when we asked our network of finance leaders what they really need. We got our heads around what we learned and designed - in close collaboration with the University of St. Gallen - a new multi-tier diagnostic methodology especially for the finance function. Something which has not been seen on the market before.

  • Through intelligent diagnostics this methodology provides a reliable and fact-based assessment of the company’s current positioning compared to the external market. This allows to decide on the right management interventions.

THE TEAM

Finance Diagnostics is the Swiss Benchmark & Consulting company. Our team is comprised of experienced finance experts, management consultants and scientists.

  • André Müller

    André is the founder and CEO of Finance Diagnostics. He has 28 years of experience leading and advising on the finance function. Before founding Finance Diagnostics, he was partner to well- known consulting firms. André Müller works for his clients in both an advisory and implementation- oriented manner as an interim CFO. André successfully completed his studies in business administration with a focus on auditing, taxes and controlling at the University of Cologne with a degree in business administration.

  • Marcel Frey

    Marcel Frey is co-founder and COO of Finance Diagnostics. He has more than 20 years of experience in finance related consulting. Before founding Finance Diagnostics, he was a partner to well-known consulting firms, including SAP, Outlooksoft and Andersen. Marcel works for his clients in an advisory and implementation-oriented manner. Marcel successfully completed his studies in finance and accounting at the at the University of Lausanne with a degree in business administration.

  • Prof. Dr. Thomas Berndt

    Thomas Berndt is full professor of Accounting at the University of St. Gallen. He holds at the university seat since 17 years. His fields of research are international accounting and corporate governance and compliance. His teaching activities are financial reporting, group reporting, law in the economic business administration and reporting governance and international accounting. Thomas studied business administration at the Goethe University and did also his doctorate as well as habilitation there.

  • Antti Mattila

    Antti is a multicultural transformation leader encouraging, influencing and motivating organisational and individual development, fostering a culture of change, promoting diversity and inclusion. Antti had leadership roles in well known consultancies like The Hackett Group and Porsche Consulting. He holds a M.Sc. (Econ.) in International Marketing and Business Administration of the Helsinki School of Economics.

  • Dr. Bernhard Babel

    Bernhard has more than 20 years of international experience in founding companies, business development and risk management. Before founding the Eurox Group, he worked at McKinsey for over 13 years, including as a partner and CEO at Risk Dynamics of a McKinsey Analytics Company. Bernhard studied business administration at the University of Cologne and also did his doctorate in statistics there.

  • Stephan Göppert

    Stephan has longstanding experience in consolidation of business processes, shared services, outsourcing, process optimization and in sales of complex services.

    With more than 30 years of professional experience, Stephan was for example 14 years with Accenture as Partner BPO and 9 years with Genpact as Vice President and Lead Client Partner.

    He studied Industrial Engineering at the University of Applied Science in Offenburg.
